Participants: 15 + Location: Indoors Duration: 1 to 2 hours
The game begins with each player being allocated a numbered lunch box containing a prize of unknown value.
A main contestant is then chosen to play while the remaining players are responsible for the all important opening of the boxes! Next, a series of 'rounds' take place where the main player chooses to eliminate boxes one by one, hoping not to take out the big prizes. Once a contestant has opened their box they win the contents - so every player wins a prize!
The "Banker" telephones between rounds with an offer to buy the player's box for an alternative prize. Whether the offer is accepted or declined, the remainder of the game is played out to see if they made the right decision and beat the Banker!
Box numbers range from 1 – 30. For larger groups, players can be chosen at random, decided before the day or they can compete against each other to win the chance to open a box by answering game show type questions in a buzzer round.
For those not opening a box there’s also the opportunity for the ‘audience’ to get involved by encouraging, cajoling and spurring on the contestants, so Meal or No Meal is a great option for both small and large teams.
So, if you’re hungry for some fun and looking for a really different event then why not try our ‘Meal or No Meal’? It’s guaranteed to provide teams with an evening that’s entertaining, fun and truly delicious!
